Founder E.M. Segall originally formed Royal Custom Builders, Inc. in 1956 as a quality renovation and custom homebuilder. The founder’s son Alan M. Segall reopened the company in 1994. The current President, Casey O Herlihy joined the firm in 1996 and in 1998 relocated the company’s operations to the Central Florida area. A member of Bonded Builders, the Central Florida and National Home Builders Associations, Royal has won numerous awards for its custom homes.
Because we understand the value of relationships, we keep our homebuilding partners, throwing out the notion that “best bid wins,” to keep a unified trade base. In fact many of our tradesmen have been with us since our inception. This allows a team or unit concept to form between our contractors who become accustomed to working together on a daily basis. We try to form a similar relationship with our clients, often going above and beyond the average builder in an effort to satisfy our client’s needs. We are in this business for the long haul and realize that it is well worth the extra effort to have a satisfied client and a solid reputation.
Royal Custom Builders, Inc. is very excited about being accepted as one of the select approved builders for Lake Burden and looks forward to continuing its tradition of elegant custom homes. Royal has built in such prestigious communities as Bay Hill, Waterford Point, The Reserve at Belmere, Tildens Grove and our own custom developments The Reserve at Cypress Point and The Isles of Lake Hancock. Royal Custom Builders presently constructs approximately 20 homes per year ranging from $700,000.00 to three million dollars.
